On Saturday 7th May, some of the Ruishton Band Players met with members of Ruth Harry’s Jammers in Tiverton for a short warm up session and then set off to Tiverton Market.
Despite heavy showers during the morning, the weather was once again kind to us and we spent a happy two hours playing music together. After a cuppa and a bite to eat, we spent the rest of the afternoon working on some new tunes and hope to give Harry Scurfield’s arrangement of ‘Wish I could Shimmy Like My Sister Kate’ soon! .
